Work in Progress

A few years ago, I read some books by Austin Kleon: Steal Like an Artist: 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative and Show Your Work!: 10 Ways to Share Your Creativity and Get Discovered.

It was in Show Your Work! that Kleon explained the importance of creating in public, letting others in on the creative process. I’m not really great at taking suggestions from the crowd, but I do wonder what it would do to my creative process to force myself to share what I’m doing.

So, as best I can—with graduate school and a nine-month old—I’m going to be writing regularly on a book that I’ve been toying with for a few years. You’ll be able to find those posts here.
